Beyond the Trees, Avondale Forest Park, County Wicklow

Avondale Forest Park is home to a fully accessible treetop walk and lookout tower, the first of their kind on the Emerald Isle.

The Treetop Walk and Viewing Tower takes people into the heart of Avondale Forest – and beyond. People are encouraged to ‘climb through’ the incredible observation tower to soar above the forest floor and take in the panoramic views of Wicklow, before returning to the ground via a massive spiral slide. For those who aren’t fans of the big spiral slides, there’s also the option of a more relaxing return to the ground: a gently sloping boardwalk.

Beyond the Trees is €11 for children; €12 for OAPs and students and €14 for adults. Family packages are also available. Reservation can be made online.
