The Waterfront Wellbeing Weekend arrives at Albert Dock this weekend.

Presented on the docks by Canal & River Trust, the event provides an opportunity to get active and explore the Liverpool docks.

The weekend program is expected to be packed with activities, including boat trips, guided walks, water sports and family learning.
âLet’s Paddleâ is also confirmed, which will take place at the center of the event at Salthouse Dock. Let’s Paddle offers visitors the opportunity to participate in canoe initiation sessions, for those who are new to the sport.
Guided heritage tours are also offered, as well as the possibility of going out on one of the trust’s âswan pedalosâ.
Also on offer is ‘Lego Make & Take and Mosaic Build’ where visitors will have the chance to make their own Lego creation to take home. Guided Lego building sessions will offer the opportunity to create your own mini-barge, replicating the one in Salthouse Dock. A giant Lego mosaic of the waterfront will also be being built, and participants can help build it.
Activities must be booked in advance and are free.
Throughout the weekend you will have the opportunity to meet Jesse Hartley, the self-taught engineer who designed Liverpool’s iconic docks.
The Waterfront Wellbeing Weekend will take place at Albert Dock from Friday August 20 to Sunday August 22.
