MANILA – Bettina Carlos couldn’t believe she could get a part in something she had never worked hard for.
Carlos shared the achievement on social media as she shared photos of the ongoing construction of their family home in La Union, which her husband Mikki Eduardo had planned to build.
“It’s been a year since you brought me to this land (‘di panga tayo fiancé) – the first time we visited LU together, you brought me here right away and told me that it is here that we will build our future. Villas lang no’n â, she wrote in the caption, addressing Eduardo.
âBusiness muna was parang sa kwarto lang tayo somewhere. Wala nga kong narinig na bahay. Kung saan mo kami ititira ni G. Because for you our comfort can wait. It’s true, âshe added.
While saying that she admires how much Eduardo is content with living a simple life, Carlos also thanked her husband because he had thought of building a house for their family.
“Ngayon can draw na au plano na ang bahay. You kept saying NTRE. Our land. Our villas. I couldn’t believe I had a role in something I had never worked for,” she declared.
Carlos said she would be owned by Eduardo and his family’s villa until they were married.
âI never thought I would live in a house – a house (near the beach itself) – or ever leave our condo one day. Hello, I wasn’t even thinking of getting married, âshe said.
For Carlos, surprise blessings like this really take time to soak up.
Carlos and Eduardo got married in December 2020. The Christian wedding ceremony took place in a garden with a view of Lake Taal.
