Families who want to enjoy a movie with their kids have a fun summer option at the Krafft 8 Theater in Ft. Free. Thanks to State Farm agent Megan Simmons and GQT Movies, there will be free family movies every Wednesday and Thursday morning from June 1 through August 4.
The Family Fun Flicks series begins today with broadcasts at 10 a.m. every Wednesday and Thursday. This week’s family movie is Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, and next week is Addams Family 2.
Tickets are available before shows on a first-come, first-served basis, and doors open at 9:30 a.m. The free movies will only be shown at one theater, so guests should arrive early to get their tickets.
GQT Movies COO Matt McSparin said: “We are very pleased to bring such a great program to moviegoers in the Port Huron area and to welcome State Farm Agent Megan Simmons as the title sponsor.”
“As a State Farm agent, the value of being a good neighbor is something I truly believe in, and I try to give back in any way I can,” Simmons said. For families unable to make it to a movie event, Simmons will do further promotions through his State Farm agency at 4935 Lakeshore Road. You can stay in touch with her via her Facebook page
