Although Gia Giudice now enjoys living in a new home with her sisters, Teresa Giudice, Luis “Louie” Ruelas and her sons, she didn’t initially have such positive thoughts about the move.

“Moving is going to be very sad,” Gia told Teresa The Real Housewives of New JerseyMarch 29 episode. “It’s not like we were like, ‘Yay, we’re so happy to be leaving!’ It does not look like.”

In an interview during the episode, Gia opened up a bit more about her reluctance to leave her family’s longtime home. “I’m very upset to sell my childhood home. It’s the last thing my dad did. [Joe Giudice] that we physically have in the United States,” she said. “So the last bit of him won’t be ours anymore.”

However, Teresa was optimistic that the move would be a good experience for her daughters and for herself. “Once you’re here, I know you’ll be so happy,” she told Gia during the episode. “And I’m ready for a fresh start with Louie.”

Now that they’re all settled into the nine-bedroom house, it seems Teresa was right. On the February 1 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohenthe host asked Gia what she thought of the new lifestyle, and Gia said, “Honestly, it’s awesome.”
