MUNCIE, Ind. – Looking for fun activities to do with your kids and family? Madjax is hosting Super “Twos Day” as a chance to explore, discover, and create with mini-maker workshops and STEM giveaways. Madjax is delighted to celebrate this unique day and offer completely free workshops, tours and demonstrations to the public.
“We believe that curiosity and exploration help fuel the work of the future,” said Kyra Zylstra, Director of Future of Work at Madjax. “Maker and STEM exploration stations will provide the opportunity to create, design and build. These interactive activities are created and led by the team as part of the Future of Work and Muncie Technology and Engineering Network partnerships.
The Super ‘Twos Day’ will take place on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, starting at 2 p.m., with two featured activity sessions – 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In addition to fabrication and STEM workshops, there will be tours of the building, special features from fabricators and building companies, an open house for Purdue Polytechnic’s Accelerated Leadership Program, and a unique chance to use the Madjax DesignLab.
“The Madjax Design Lab connects local makers with tools and equipment they wouldn’t normally have access to,” said Tina Black, Madjax’s COO. “Anyone can join the Design Lab for just $25 a month and learn how to make their own projects. We have 3D printers, laser cutter, waterjet metal and glass cutter, sewing machine and much more. Come see what you can do in the Design Lab.
