Authorities say a fire that destroyed a Duplin County home last Wednesday was caused by an arsonist. The family who lost their home say the crime was racially motivated

Judge’s family has come to know and love now the owner of the house, Rebecca Judge hurt not only by the sight of the remains of their longtime home, but by who may be responsible for its destruction. There’s another thing that’s devastating and that’s just realizing up close and personal that there are people in our home county or state who are so bad. Duplin County law enforcement and the FBI are investigating but believe the fire was intentionally started.
