Swimming in the sea, picnics and bike rides are among the activities that families want to experience this summer.
Outdoor activities are among the 50 things families plan to get the most out of after more than a year of restrictions.
Other top activities to do this summer included sunrise (30%), a theme park excursion (28%) and a quintessential trip to the British seaside (24%).
More quality time together
It has also emerged that six in 10 families want to spend more quality time together outdoors this summer, after enjoying nature has become more important than after the start of the pandemic.
The research was commissioned by sunscreen brand Soltan, who partnered with TV presenter and nature enthusiast Helen Skelton to inspire families to have adventures as parents plan activities for the kids. this summer.

The study also found that nearly a quarter intended to build sandcastles on the beach while watching birds, building a den and going on a scavenger hunt were other adventures than the families hope to live this summer.
And glamping and a UK safari were the top activities that families have never done but would consider for the first time this year.
It also emerged that 67% of parents have struggled to come up with ideas to entertain their child since the start of the pandemic.
The results come after it was revealed that searches for sunscreen on boots.com have increased by over 7,120% year over year.
